Head to your player profile by clicking your avatar in the top right. You can then click the edit avatar link to update your avatar on the buzztime website.

Players are automatically kicked if they repeatedly fail to take their turn and the game has to auto move them or if they lose connection from the table for more than the allowed time.

You can renew your chips in your player profile or you can ask your host to top up your account.

Your rank is based on your monthly win rate with a confidence adjustment that rewards both skill and consistency. The system uses a statistical method (Wilson Score) that asks: "What's the minimum win rate we can be 95% confident this player has?"

How it works:
- Players with higher win rates rank higher
- Playing more hands increases confidence in your score
- Someone with 45% over 200 hands beats 50% over 50 hands (because 200 hands proves consistency)
- You need at least 50 hands played per month to appear on the leaderboard

The bottom line: Win more hands to rank higher, but volume matters too. A slightly lower win rate with many hands played can compete with a hot streak over fewer hands. This ensures the leaderboard reflects true skill, not just luck.

The leaderboard resets monthly so everyone gets a fresh chance to compete!
